Summary: Sinead de hOra provides various ways for you to add your personal information to her database. By clicking on “Submit” “Sign-up” “Buy now” “Submit” and or any other button (or functionality) that has a similar meaning you are providing your explicit consent to be added to Sinead's communication system. By entering enquiry information into the contact form you must be aware that anything you send is sent to Sinead via her secure email system. You will not be added to any email listing without an opt-in form which you can manually select. Sinead outlines below the methods of communicating with you based on the information you provide. You may opt-out of emails from Sinead at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” button included on all currently available means of communication that Sinead de hOra has described below it may use to communicate with you.

Sinead de hOra (the “COMPANY”) respects the privacy concerns of the users of its website, www.sineaddehora.com and the services and or goods provided there (the “SITE”). Sinead de hOra provides this privacy statement to explain what information is gathered during a visit to the SITE and how such information may be used.

COVID-19 SAFETY GUIDELINES

Sinéad will operate in line with industry guidelines and standards as set out by the Irish Spa Association & HSE / Department of Health Guidelines. Sinéad has always adhered to a high standard of hygiene as well as adhering to the five-star standards of the hotel spas to which she visits. In order to maintain a high standard of hygiene levels for our health and safety, please take note of the following requirements when visiting Sinead in the spas.

  • Treatments are made by appointments only

  • Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment

  • A consultation form will be sent to you when making a booking, please complete and send it back to the spa reception team before your arrival

  • Our Spa Reception Team will welcome you upon arrival and ensure we have received your digital consultation card should you have a treatment booked.

  • The therapist will meet you at the Spa Reception and bring you directly to the treatment room for your treatments

  • The therapist will wear a mask during you treatment as an enhanced safety measures

  • Robes and slippers available per request.

  • Locker keys available per request.

  • There will be no reading material, fruit or refreshments is available, only water.

  • To keep our guests and employees safe, guests will be requested to shower in their room and wash hands prior to the treatment or can use Spa changing room with social distancing.   

  • Spa staff are practicing strict hygiene controls, including thorough hand washing, along with sanitizing and ventilating treatment rooms between clients.

  • Your treatment room will have been deep cleaned and sanitized using a certified anti-bacterial spray.

  • Please note that normal cancellation policy applies i.e. 50% of the treatment will be charged if cancelled within 24 hours of booking occurs.

  • You may be asked for medical details which are confidential and for your safety. We would ask that you give full details of any medical history, illnesses, allergies or medication prior to any treatment.

  • Credit card details and a phone number are required when booking an appointment. If you have visited before, you may note other small changes to our normal facilities.

  • A COVID-19 consultation form will be filled in returned to the spa via email up to 24hr prior to the appointment.

  • We have endeavored to keep the spa as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

    What you can do to help:

    We would like you to relax during your visit and immerse yourself in the Spa Experience. For this reason, we have taken extra measures to safeguard our guests prior to arrival.

    We kindly ask the following:

    For the safety of our guests and staff, if you or a member of your household has developed any of the following symptoms; cough, fever, breathlessness, sore throat, headaches within the last 7 days (prior to your Hotel/Spa visit) please contact the Hotel/Spa prior to the arrival of your appointment or facility use. Should you present with any symptoms of Covid-19 or feel unwell during your stay we kindly ask that you stay home to isolate as per the HSE guidelines and reschedule your appointment until it is safe to proceed.

USE OF INFORMATION

As a general policy, no personally identifiable information (“PERSONAL DATA”), such as your name, address, or e-mail address, is automatically collected from your visit to the SITE. ANY PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED BY THE SITE MUST BE VOLUNTARILY ENTERED BY THE SUBSCRIBER. “Special Data” is data that is sent voluntarily by the subscriber via use of contact form to Sinead and is treated as confidential.

Non-personal data is recorded by the standard operation of Sinead de hOra internet servers. Information such as the type of browser being used, its operating system, and your IP address is gathered in order to enhance your online experience.

PERSONAL DATA is information that specifically identifies you (name, email address, ship to/bill to address, phone number) and can be used to specifically locate you from within Sinead de hOra's database and or filing system. The SITE’S various mailing lists, downloads, special offers, contests, registration forms, and surveys may request that you give Sinead de hOra contact information such as your Name, Email, Phone number, Address .

SENSITIVE DATA is information that you supply voluntarily to Sinead when applying to meet with her for a healing session through the use of the contact form on www.sineaddehora.com . When you book an appointment using Sinead's calendar system, your contact and form information goes to Mailchimp who are GDPR compliant. Anything that is sent to Sinead via contact form or placed in the intake form is DEEMED CONFIDENTIAL and not shared with any third party or data controller. Any queries you may send to Sinead's main email address are also deemed confidential, and are not shared with any third party.

Information submitted in general contact forms or via email query will be used by Sinead de hOra to:

  • Email SUBSCRIBER the requested information from Sinead de hOra

  • Email SUBSCRIBER a link to opt-into Sinead's monthly newsletter

  • Provide SUBSCRIBER access to the requested content from Sinead de hOra;

PERSONAL DATA submitted voluntarily by the SUBSCRIBER via email or general contact form is managed by the following companies: Mailchimp, who have made statements to say they are GDPR compliant.

Should the SUBSCRIBER request to be unsubscribed from any email listing they can click on the unsubscribe button supplied with any email correspondence from Sinead and they will automatically be unsubscribed.

LEGAL BASIS FOR USE OF INFORMATION

Sinead de hOra is legally processing SUBSCRIBER’S SENSITIVE and PERSONAL DATA based on the following:

  1. The SUBSCRIBER has given his or her explicit and voluntary consent to Sinead de hOra;

  2. The SUBSCRIBER has a contract with Sinead de hOra that necessitates Sinead de hOra having his or her PERSONAL or SENSITIVE DATA;

  3. Sinead de hOra has a legal obligation that requires processing SUBSCRIBER’S PERSONAL and SENSITIVE DATA;

  4. There is a vital interest that necessitates Sinead de hOra processing SUBSCRIBER’S PERSONAL DATA

No sessions are recorded and everything that takes place in an Intuitive healing session/ Spiritual Guidance session/ Distant Healing session/ Accountability Partner session/ is confidential based on the ethics and guidelines of the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists). 

CREDIT CARD INFORMATION

Sinead de hOra does not store any credit card information it may receive in regard to a specific transaction and/or billing arrangement except as necessary to complete and satisfy its rights and obligations with regard to such transaction, billing arrangement, and/or as otherwise authorized by a user. All online credit card information is handled by Stripe and PayPal. Credit Card transactions in person in the office are handled by iZettle.

USE TO THIRD PARTIES

PERSONAL DATA and SENSITIVE DATA is never sold, leased, or shared with any third parties. A third party is a COMPANY outside of the SUBSCRIBER – COMPANY- DATA CONTROLLER relationship where DATA CONTROLLERS are services used by the COMPANY to carry out certain tasks. The current list of DATA CONTROLLERS is: Mailchimp, Zoom, Skype, Stripe, PayPal, FaceTime, iZettle.

LEGAL OBLIGATIONS

Sinead de hOra may disclose SUBSCRIBER information in special cases when required by legal and or law enforcement and only when required by law. If Sinead de hOra has reasonable reason(s) to believe that disclosing PERSONAL DATA held by Sinead de hOra is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference (either intentionally or unintentionally) with Sinead de hOra rights or property, other users of the SITE, and or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities, then Sinead de hOra will work with the appropriate and legitimate law enforcement and or legal authorities to make sure that the PERSONAL DATA is handled in accordance with the applicable laws.

SKYPE, ZOOM AND FACETIME SESSIONS

Sessions with Sinead are confidential and are never recorded. The only information that will be kept by the system is the time, date, duration and contact information which is required in order to create the appointment. Sometimes there may be need to send information over the chat box, via email or via text message with lists of tasks/homework and tailor made meditations or guidelines, all of this is deleted after the sessions have ended. Email information stays with the email server until such a time as emails are deleted. All emails and website form responses are on a secure server and any information that you send in an email about your session with Sinead is totally confidential, only seen by her and her alone, and totally voluntary on your behalf. CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION IS NEVER SHARED WITH ANYONE.

PROFILING PERSONAL DATA

Profiling means any form of automated processing of PERSONAL DATA consisting of the use of PERSONAL DATA to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a SUBSCRIBER, in particular to analyse or predict aspects concerning that SUBSCRIBER’S performance at work, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behaviour, location or movements; Sinead de hOra DOES NOT ENGAGE IN ANY SORT OF PROFILING OF ITS SUBSCRIBERS BASED ON PERSONAL DATA.

EMAIL CONVERSATIONS

Email conversations are deemed confidential and never shared with anyone. All information you supply to Sinead is over secure email. All information you share with Sinead is voluntary and all correspondence will be deleted from her system after 2 years. Sinead cannot be held responsible for the integrity of email travel over the internet however she is currently researching alternatives which may be more secure. In order to provide exceptional customer service, Sinead's PA will have access to your email address/ phone number only in order to secure bookings and to answer additional questions that you may have.

SUBSCRIBERS RIGHTS

As a subscriber and or user of the SITE, you have the following rights:

  • Transparent information from Sinead de hOra regarding how they communicate and interact with the SUBSCRIBER;

  • The right to hear back from Sinead de hOra regarding any inquiry into SUBSCRIBER’S PERSONAL DATA;

  • To request correction of PERSONAL DATA from Sinead de hOra;

  • Access to SUBSCRIBER’S PERSONAL DATA including knowing the purposes that the data is used for;

  • To request erasure from Sinead de hOra records provided that there are not overriding legal, public interest, or legitimate interests;

  • To a restriction on the processing of the PERSONAL DATA;

  • Data portability of PERSONAL DATA (having a record provided to you that is readable and commonly used that outlines the PERSONAL DATA Sinead de hOra has on you)

  • To object to processing of PERSONAL DATA – Sinead de hOra shall no longer process the SUBSCRIBER’S PERSONAL DATA unless Sinead de hOra demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the SUBSCRIBER or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

  • The right to unsubscribe at any time (withdraw consent)

CHILDREN UNDER AGE 16

Sinead de hOra recognizes the special obligation to protect PERSONAL DATA obtained from children age 16 and under. IF YOU ARE 16 YEARS OLD OR YOUNGER, Sinead de hOra REQUESTS THAT YOU NOT SUBMIT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THE SITE OR TO Sinead de hOra. If Sinead de hOra discovers that a child age 16 or younger has signed up on the SITE and or provided Sinead de hOra with PERSONAL DATA, Sinead de hOra will delete that child’s PERSONAL DATA from her records straight away. Adult supervision is required at all times.

RETURNS POLICY

There are no returns available for digital downloadable items purchased in Sinead de hOra shop.

Online Courses: It is possible to get a refund on any online course run by Sinead providing the refund has been requested 14 days prior to the start date of the course. Once courses have started, no refunds are available.

Where items purchased on Sinead de hOra's shop are NOT downloadable items (Distant healing/ Intuitive healing sessions etc.), returns and refunds are available on an item by item basis, depending on the circumstances. We can’t take same-day bookings and missed appointments or cancellations of less than 48hrs cannot be refunded.

If you have purchased See the Signs card deck, Thank you. We hope the energy brings you guidance and support. Here we believe in the energy vibration of ‘paying it forward’, so we do not offer refunds. What this means is, if you have outgrown your cards, perhaps you would like to pass them onto a loved one so that they receive the guidance and where you can create a positive wave of energy

TREATMENT BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

BOOKING A TREATMENT

When booking a treatment with Sinéad whether one-to-one, in person or online, please email Sinéad prior to purchasing a treatment online to ensure availability. Due to a high demand on Sinéad's treatments you might have to wait for a booking and that might not suit your needs. However, if you do require an emergency treatment, Sinéad will do her best to accommodate you.

If you are experiencing a treatment online, you must preypay in advance by following the appropriate links in the 'shop'. Your treatment booking will only be secure once you have paid in advance. When booking, please prepay straight away as Sinéad cannot hold your treatment open unless she agrees to do so.

Late arrivals will result in a shortened treatment time therefore please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment online or in person. This will allow sufficient time for you to prepare for your treatments with Sinead.

Depending on your needs, Sinead will advise the best form of therapy to suit you. Please contact Sinead first before booking so that Sinead can confirm if her therapy is best for you.

CANCELLATION POLICY ON TREATMENTS, WORKSHOPS, RETREATS AND COURSES

ONLINE TREATMENTS

We can’t take same-day bookings and missed appointments or cancellations of less than 72hrs cannot be refunded or rescheduled. You will need to make a new appointment if you cancel within 72 hours of your original appointment time.

INTUITIVE HEALING ONE-TO-ONE

Late arrivals will result in a shortened treatment time therefore please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This will allow sufficient time for you to change and complete a health questionnaire required by the spa/ resort.

You are respectfully advised that the full treatment cost will be incurred if less than 7 days’ notice of cancellation is given. If less than 10 days prior to your treatment booking, 50% of the treatment cost will be charged.

WORKSHOPS ONLINE AND IN-PERSON AND DAY RETREATS:

  • Every attendee must have a valid ticket.

  • Once purchased, tickets & Gift Cards cannot be exchanged or refunded.

  • If you can no longer attend then you can gift your ticket to a third party and inform Sinead’s team of this exchange by emailing pa@sineaddehora.com

  • All deposits are non-refundable

ONLINE COURSES:

It is possible to get a partial refund on any online course run by Sinead providing the refund has been requested 14 days prior to the start date of the course. Once courses have started, no refunds are available. A deposit is required to secure your space. Deposits are non-refundable

WEEKEND AND WEEK-LONG RETREATS:

  • Every attendee must have a valid ticket.

  • A non-refundable deposit must be paid to secure your space.

  • 6 weeks’ notice is required if you can no longer attend. A partial refund will be issued if you cancel prior to 6 weeks of the start date of your retreat. The deposit is non-refundable.

  • if you cancel within 6 weeks there is no refund available

  • You can gift your ticket to a third party and inform Sinead’s team of this exchange by emailing pa@sineaddehora.com
